About

rough seas

I shoot for the pure joy of photography.

I have been around cameras all my life since my inspiration started at just 12 years old, watching my Uncle taking happy snaps at family gatherings. My first camera was a very basic film Instamatic that I received for my 13th birthday and once leaving school and landing a job, I bought my first SLR. I have always been a Canon man.

After various jobs my calling came when I went to college to study a Diploma of Photography at Ultimo Sydney. After two full years in the course I went onto work with Warren Macris, a highly respected Sydney commercial photographer and from this point, I honed my skills.

I am comfortable around any commercial application and offer a broad skill set including architecture, events, sport, natural portraits and landscape photography.

I believe anybody can be taught how to use a camera but the real art is in the eye of the photographer. I hope you like my art.
